About Rubye
University freshmen and career switchers often find the nuances of accounting daunting rather than logical. Most people assume that debits and credits are just abstract rules to memorize by rote. My approach centers on mastering journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and accounts payable or receivable.
I bridge these concepts with financial ratios, depreciation methods, bank reconciliation, and managerial accounting to simplify the process. Holding a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from MIT Sloan allows me to demystify these complex systems for my students. I have spent 3 years refining a method that turns confusion into clarity. Expect a 7.0 benchmark of excellence in my explanations.

Many students struggle to visualize how a single transaction impacts an entire balance sheet. The truth is that accounting is actually quite rigid and forgiving once you master the foundational flow.
I use my 3 years of experience to walk you through the logic, not just the math. My MIT Sloan training ensures that every technical detail remains grounded in real-world application.
We build confidence through repetitive practice and clear feedback. You will learn to navigate complex statements. Fundamentals are critical here. Consistency defines the outcome.
