About Chi

I am always available for questions even outside tutoring hours, and I always prepare the lesson at least a day to our meeting. This allows me to anticipate your questions. In addition to that, I am always prompt to our meetings, since I know most of my students also work, and are incredibly busy! I have also undergone training regarding ethics, privacy and empathy, all necessary to instructing students.

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor is to create a conducive learning environment that fosters knowledge transfer and encourages active participation. I believe in using a student-centered approach that tailors each session to the needs and learning styles of the individual student.

Teaching Method and Techniques:
My teaching methods involve using a combination of lectures, visual aids, and hands-on problem-solving techniques. I find that this approach makes the learning process more engaging and easier to retain. I also incorporate real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how the concepts apply in practical situations.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
My typical lesson plan includes an introduction to the topic, followed by a detailed discussion of the core concepts, and then problem-solving exercises. I also include time for students to ask questions and clarify any misunderstandings they may have.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students and provide a personalized learning experience that caters to their unique needs. I have a passion for engineering and physical sciences, and enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others. Additionally, my ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them in easy-to-understand terms makes me an effective tutor. I can teach graduate-level concepts to elementary school kids!

Who the Lessons Are For:
My tutoring services are available to all physical science and engineering students at all levels, from high school to graduate school. I specialize in chemistry and maths, but I am also knowledgeable in other areas such as industrial engineering, business analytics and management. My services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each student, whether they need help with homework assignments, exam preparation, or general comprehension of course materials.

While my major focus is on college students (both undergraduate and graduate students), I have also worked with kids in gifted programs, particularly in math and coding.
I love improving students’ results by adapting learning methods to each student.

Perfect! I've had a lot of tutors over the course of my life and I am very picky with who I choose but she's by far the best. I'm terrible at any math subject but she was very patient and calm explaining everything and anything over and over and over again until I understood. It's very difficult to find educators who are like this, she genuinely cares about teaching others and it shows through her constant efforts with me. I've spent over 50 hours with Chi over the last 5 weeks and I can truly say she is the only reason I passed my university statistics course! She's accommodating, understanding, patient and prompt to replying, I can guarantee you will not find someone like her on here - cannot recommend enough honestly!
