My teaching approach is entirely dependent and flexible on the learning style of my students.
But a generic overview is as below:
1. Start with an idea of how much prior knowledge a student has about the lesson
2. Overview of what we are going to learn today
3. Practical and participatory lesson delivery (this will be a combination of explaining concepts and then trying to apply those concepts indifferent practical examples)
4. Repeat above step until student feels comfortable to move on
5. Have a fun post-assessment to make sure the learning outcome was fulfilled
6. Summarize and give an idea of what's next
As I mentioned, this can be flexible based on the learner's approach because I believe it's not about my teaching style - it's all about the learner's needs.
