About Yumna
I’m a learner and a teacher. I love spending time outdoors; gardening and reading are my passions. I don’t have formal qualifications, but I have been trained to teach Montessori, and I have many years of experience teaching traditional schooling methods. I’ve been teaching both in South Africa and overseas for more than fifteen years. The things learned in a Montessori class setup are amazing. I love seeing the confidence it builds, but that does not mean a traditional classroom is lacking. Both forms of teaching bring so much fun and excitement to a classroom.

I love teaching both pre k and kindergarten children. phonetics and reading are the subjects i love teaching.
Well start off with letter recognition, letter sounds and then joining letters
I’d prefer teaching children whose first language or mother tongue is not English
