About Mariela
Graduating with an Artist Diploma in Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music taught me the value of DAILY PRACTICE. It is strange that most people think language is about memorizing lists rather than creating sounds. My background in music informs how I teach French through rhythm and intonation.
I have guided 97 students through this process since I began my career 9 years ago. My personal narrative as a performer helps me empathize with the anxiety of speaking a new language. I look forward to seeing how we can reach your fluency targets.

Starting our first session is usually a casual conversation about your past experience with French. It feels like a natural chat, yet we dive into verb conjugation or pronunciation immediately.
I provide absolute beginners with the tools to master everyday phrases for real life. My degree from the Manhattan School of Music helps me emphasize the musicality of the French language.
We incorporate role play and dialogue practice to boost your confidence. I ensure we cover writing skills and reading comprehension in every session.
