About George
If you are struggling with Science or want to level up your abilities, I would be happy to help. I've spent nearly 20 years teaching Science at GCSE and to A-level, and am the Head of Science at a prestigious independent school. There are not many tutors who can teach across the three sciences at A-level. I have also taught Economics, Business and Philosophy and Ethics at A-level. I've worked as a private tutor through much of that time and have experience working to support a wide range of learning needs and abilities. Whatever you need help with, I've probably helped someone with similar requirements before. I enjoy teaching online, and use a broad range of tools and platforms to accelerate your learning time and skill-set.

Strong track record over nearly 20 years of teaching and tutoring in raising attainment and increasing engagement at all ability levels through developing student-led reflection and self-analysis. Targeted support and intervention focuses on areas for proximal development and tracks progress in order to build self-confidence. Two decades of experience gives me a wide range of techniques, activities and platforms which suit the individual learner. All learners are in charge of their own education, and are encouraged to self-evaluate and select methods and techniques that produce the best objective results. Hons. Degree in Biology, PGCE, 18 years of experience teaching across private, state and international sectors. Head of Science at prestigious independent school. Lessons last for 1 hour and are structured to review independent prevision, introduce topic, review and practice key skills and select appropriate study to draw synthetic links within the course. Experienced careers and educational guidance counsellor and UCAS tutor providing advice and support to students entering further education in the UK as well as applying to College.
