About Dorothy
"Chemistry reveals its beauty through the quiet hum of a lab or the satisfying click of a balanced equation. I admit that I find the most joy when a student finally understands a difficult mole concept problem after struggling for weeks. My lessons focus on lab and practical work alongside rigorous theory to ensure intermediate learners grasp every mechanism.
I provide weekly problem sets with step-by-step solutions to ensure you maintain momentum between our meetings. Because I am currently a Doctor of Medicine candidate, I bring a very practical perspective to how we analyze data and periodic trends. You will see that my patient demeanor helps ease the anxiety that often accompanies complex stoichiometry assignments.
I am genuinely committed to making sure you have the resources needed to succeed in your coursework. It is my hope that you find our time together both productive and intellectually stimulating. I look forward to working with you to clarify these topics. Please let me know which specific areas you want to prioritize during our next meeting."

"My 5 years of experience cover a broad spectrum of chemical principles. I work with 54 students who require direct support in their studies. My background as a Doctor of Medicine candidate at the University of Queensland drives my methodology.
Intermediate learners often struggle with reaction mechanisms and stoichiometry. I help these students simplify the periodic table and its trends. My approach is disciplined and relies on the same logic I use in my medical studies.
I focus on conceptual learning rather than rote memorization. Organic chemistry becomes manageable when you break it down systematically. Helping students navigate acids and bases is a core part of my practice. I promise to keep our sessions grounded in the most effective strategies."
