About Ty
13 years ago I realized that math was not about memorization but about logic. 187 students have since passed through my door.
I hold a degree in Pure Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. My teaching style relies on geometry and arithmetic alongside number sense.
I enjoy showing students how Vedic math techniques make complex problems simple. Statistics and probability occupy a large part of my curriculum. Competition math prep and coordinate geometry are also frequent topics. Feel free to reach out if you need support.

Problems are solved step by step. Lessons follow a strict progression starting with a clear identification of core concepts. I use my BSc Pure Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University to explain why formulas function the way they do. We cover SAT ACT math prep and other core material in a very predictable way.
