About Emily
I am moving to elementary music, but have spent 12 years teaching middle school band (+ 6 teaching chorus as well). I have the following certifications: Florida K-12 Music, Orff Level 1, and Little Kids Rock. I have Bachelor's Degrees in Music Education & Performance and a Master's Degree in Music Education. My primary instrument is bassoon but I have started beginners in all woodwinds & brass. I picked up ukuele in my spare time and love teaching music theory.

I am seeking to help prospective students meet their needs. I want to get to know the students I'm working with, help them set goals, and then provide them with what they need. Are they looking to learn theory basics? Private lessons to audition for university or honor groups? Basic music & even some keyboarding skills? My goal is to help students meet their goals.
