About Walter
"Homeschooling families often find that learning an instrument requires a steady hand and a clear ear for rhythm. I trace the calluses on my fingertips from years of gigging and practicing indie rock riffs. My Bachelor of Music from Griffith provides a solid foundation for teaching power chords and barre chords to students of all ages.
Reading sheet music and mastering acoustic technique are vital parts of my teaching practice. I also guide students through grade exam prep to ensure they have a clear path forward. My method focuses on keeping things simple and keeping the beat solid."

"Since we are just starting, you will find me ready to play and explain things clearly. You get free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to keep your momentum high.
I draw on 13 years of playing in bands to show you how to make songs sound authentic. We keep the focus strictly on modern songwriter guitar and alt rock styles. These sessions last for 60 minutes of active playing and direct feedback. Reach out anytime if you want to chat about your musical goals."
