About Kathryn
You need a direct approach to organic chemistry if you want to stop hitting that wall. I have spent 5 years refining how I explain these complex mechanisms to university students and exam candidates. My teaching style is blunt and focuses entirely on the logic behind the chemistry.

Getting through the IUPAC nomenclature and retrosynthesis parts of the curriculum is much easier when you follow a clear roadmap. Since I have 5 years of experience, I recognize exactly where the common errors occur in SN1 and SN2 reactions. We will break down stereochemistry, NMR spectroscopy, and isomerism into manageable chunks that actually make sense during your exams.
You should also expect to spend plenty of time on elimination reactions, amines, radical reactions, and complex synthesis pathways. I make sure we focus on the specific concepts that appear most frequently on your tests. My method keeps the pressure high but the confusion low. That is just how this subject works.
