I’m a piano teacher with over 14 years of experience teaching students both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, and I bring a strong academic and practical foundation to every lesson. My teaching approach is rooted in active participation, expressive intent, and nurturing well-rounded musicianship. I believe every student has a unique voice and learning style. That’s why I adapt each lesson to individual needs—blending history, music theory, technique, and creativity to create a rich and engaging experience. From complete beginners to advanced and professional-level players, I’ve helped students grow in skill and confidence. Lessons are interactive and goal-driven, but always warm and supportive. I focus not only on playing notes but on helping students understand the music deeply and express it meaningfully. As a piano tutor with over 14 years of experience, I help students explore music with confidence and creativity. My teaching blends classical foundations with the energy of pop, jazz, soul, and contemporary styles. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advancing player, lessons are tailored to your pace, interests, and goals.
I focus on developing strong technique, expressive playing, and a deep understanding of music. Alongside this, I use ear training apps, metronomes, and DAWs to sharpen your pitch, timing, and creativity. These tools make practice more engaging and help students become independent, confident musicians.
I work with aspiring church musicians and digital producers, guiding them through the skills needed for worship settings or modern production environments. From understanding harmony and arranging to improvising or composing, I support every step of your journey.
