About Phylis
You likely want an English coach who understands the specific hurdles adults face in academic or professional settings. I earned my BA from Georgetown University before spending 7 years refining a curriculum that actually works for busy people.
My 343 students often arrive wanting to master essay writing or business English. We might address creative writing or public speaking as your needs evolve. I enjoy helping people refine their pronunciation and accent until they feel natural. It is rewarding to see students gain total control over their academic writing, email composition, and proofreading tasks.

Your initial session begins by evaluating your current proficiency using 7.0 standard metrics through mock exam papers with detailed marking. You receive direct analysis on where your IELTS or TOEFL preparation requires further attention. I believe that steady progress occurs when we combine vocabulary building with rigorous practice. My 7 years of teaching inform how I present complex report writing structures.
You will notice that my feedback is always precise. I find teaching these specific skills to be the most satisfying part of my workday.
