About Laurel
Students struggling with arithmetic and number sense often find themselves hitting a wall during basic homework help sessions. I start by identifying the specific gaps in your coordinate geometry or trigonometry understanding to ensure we build a foundation that actually holds up. My background as a BSc Statistics graduate from UC Berkeley informs the 13 years of experience I use to tackle word problems and linear algebra concepts.

My 13 years of experience have taught me that clear feedback is better than empty encouragement when you are stuck on a complex equation. We will spend our time moving through your specific curriculum while I monitor your progress on every individual problem. You will notice that I prioritize your ability to explain the logic behind each step. My approach is structured to make the difficult topics feel manageable as we go.
