About Kim
I have been teaching for 27 years and my experience includes elementary, middle, and high school students. The reason that I have been teaching this long is my passion for teaching and helping students overcome learning obstacles. I believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and include a variety of learning techniques catered to each student's individual needs.

My teaching methodology includes lessons that are engaging and include all learning modalities. Some of my techniques include scaffolding methods (allowing students opportunities to practice and move toward independent goals). I also use chunking methods which break concepts into manageable pieces.
I believe that my experience and love for teaching sets me apart from typical tutors. In addition, my methods and abilities to work with struggling students provide successful outcomes.
