About Will

My name is Will Aldridge, I am a 16 year old student, currently taking maths, Chemistry and Economics at A level. I completed my GCSEs at the Portsmouth Grammar School, and achieved the highest grades in maths and sciences. I studied a lot (5/6 hours a day) during the months leading up to the exams and know the content inside and out, I also remember the tips and tricks that best helped me to learn them. For example, Rich Men In Vegas Use eXpensive Gadgets, which is the order of electromagnetic waves in order of decreasing wavelength. The order being (Radio, Micro, Infrared, Visible light, Ultraviolet, X rays, Gamma rays.) Learning the complex areas of the syllabus like this may be difficult in classes with little to none 1 to 1 time with a teacher, but with me I can personally help and assist any confusion or gaps in your knowledge/understanding as I remember exactly how I would have loved to be taught it. This will make my delivery of help and teaching, the most beneficial and foolproof method of acing your exams.

About the lesson

Hi, My name is Will, and in GCSE Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths I achieved the top grades (9,9,9,9). Having experienced this satisfaction of reaching my full potential, I'm passionate to help as many GCSE students as I can to feel more confident ahead of mocks, and ultimately to open their results to see numbers higher than they previously thought possible... As a Year 12 student excelling in maths and science, I offer clear, engaging, 40 minute tutoring sessions tailored to GCSE students especially those facing mocks soon. I will help you conquer topics you previously struggled with and dreaded, helping you to boost happiness and confidence in your academics. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable chunks, and help you to build confidence through practice. You will leave each session feeling more confident, prepared and motivated to ace your exams helping you to achieve the best grades you can by breaking complex ideas into simple, stress-free steps. Sessions will start with a 5 minute review and reflection on last week's topic to ensure positive progress is made and to cement understanding. Then I will explain the idea of the session as well as running through some questions interactively with you ensuring you understand the method. Next you will have some questions to complete with supervision, ready to help and answer questions at any given time. Finally we will end with some exam past paper questions to test your skills and to help understand how this topic may come up in the exam. So, are you ready to accelerate your academics?
