About Kavita
I am an experienced tutor of 2 years for younger students (from Year 4 - 6) partaking in the 11-Plus exams, helping them with maths in particular.
I also sat my GCSEs last month, and throughout my academic journey I have always been a hardworking, dedicated and disciplined individual.
My speciality and passion is Maths, and in September I will be moving on to study Maths and Further Maths at A Level. I am predicted to achieve a grade 9 in maths, and I can give students advice on how to also reach their full potential in this subject; by providing revision resources, and advice, on techniques for trickier concepts.
If maths isn't your strong suit, I am also able to re-teach the basics at a pace that will challenge you whilst steadily developing your understanding. Within my lessons, I can help build the foundations of a student's learning: these foundations are the key that will allow them to grasp more demanding ideas much easier.

I'm offering online private tutoring sessions for students at GCSE level (year 10-11) or below who either:
- want to achieve the top grades
- want to improve the current grade they're working at
- want to consolidate their knowledge but don't know where to start
- only need help with a few tricky topics
- all of the above!
Lesson lengths are up to you: I offer 30 minutes - 2 hours sessions of one-on-one teaching, allowing you to gain the most learning at a pace that you feel comfortable at.
I have just finished my GCSEs and will be moving on to study maths and further maths (statistics) at A-Level - having been predicted grade 9s in all my subjects at GCSE.
This means I can give effective revision tips, recommend revision resources and teach/consolidate topics in a way that will help each student maximise their potential: coming from a student who went through this fairly recently!
I have also been preparing younger students for the 11-Plus maths exams for 2 years. This gave me experience that now means I can explain difficult concepts in the easiest and most memorable ways.
