About Charlotte
Hello I'm Charlotte! I am currently a year 12 student who just finished their GCSEs in the 2026 summer time.
Maths has always been my favourite subject and I am very passionate in all sorts of maths problems. I genuinely enjoy helping others to understand mathematics and I believe that everyone can improve their maths skills with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement.
From year 8 I attended a comprehensive state school and just switched to a grammar school in the 2026-27 academic year. I got a 9 in my maths, further maths (AQA), physics, biology, chemistry GCSE and I now study A-level maths, further maths, biology and chemistry. I have also participated in the UKMT maths challenges where I got a silver in year 9 and a gold in year 11. For the year 11 intermediate maths challenge, I was qualified for the pink kangaroo which was the second round of the competition and took part in the UKMT summer camp which selects the top performers from the IMC.
ps: I teach in Cantonese as well as English

I tutor GCSE maths (year 7 to year 11)
I believe that to be good at maths you need to understand how it works instead of just memorising methods. I use simple models to explain complicated processes so that the concepts are easier to digest.
Each lesson will be 1 hour, if you wish to, you could tell me the topic you wish to go through beforehand so that I have time to prepare for the lesson.
I have tutoring experience with my peers, and I used to help other students in after school maths club.
