About Mia
Hi! I’m a Year 11 IB student at a selective school, where I’m also the school council president and a member of the orchestra. I love being part of a busy and supportive school community, and I’m really passionate about helping others enjoy learning as much as I do. As both a student leader and musician, I’ve developed strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills that I bring into my tutoring. I always aim to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and keep improving.

I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and building strong foundational understanding through practice and discussion. Lessons can run for about an hour on weekdays and up to five hours on weekends, designed for students in Year 8 and below. I have a year of experience teaching at a tuition centre and can conduct lessons in both English and Japanese.
