About Wo
I'm a math instructor and coach with a genuine passion for helping people grow — whether that's on the court, in the gym, or in the classroom. Outside of teaching, I'm deeply into music, sports, and gaming, which means I always have real-world examples ready that actually connect with students. When a kid who loves basketball finally understands angles and trajectory, or a student who plays games starts seeing probability and statistics in action — that's the moment I live for.
I've spent years coaching and instructing in high-pressure environments where communication and patience aren't optional — they're essential. I bring that same energy to every tutoring session. I genuinely enjoy the process of learning alongside my students, figuring out how their mind works, and finding the explanation that finally makes something click.
Math has always been about patterns and logic to me — and I believe any student can learn to see it that way too.

My lessons start at the root. Before tackling any problem, I figure out exactly where the understanding broke down — because most math struggles aren't about the current topic, they're about a gap that was never filled earlier.
Once we've got that foundation solid, I build the lesson around real-world examples that connect to what the student actually cares about. Math is everywhere in real life, and once a student sees that, something shifts.
My standard for every session: you walk away understanding more than when you came in. Every time. Works best for middle and high school students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, or Geometry.
