About Richard
I am a 25 year old UCT graduate with a MSc and honours in chemistry as well as a BSc in human physiology and anatomy and chemistry. I have experience with high school tutoring including sciences and maths. I also have experience with medicinal chemistry. I’m a scientist at heart and therefore love the outdoors and anything to do with science

I require engagement from the student in order to gauge and understanding of the level of knowledge they already have. Once there is an understanding, I will accumulate what my knowledge is on the subject in order to plan and outline a schedule of tutorials so that the student has the time necessary for a full understanding on the topic. I usually consult previous private notes, online resources and textbooks for the lessons/tutorials to ensure literature is up to date and relevant for tertiary level tutorials. I do however require engagement from each student I teach and often the most successful students are the most engaging.
