About Olivia
Hi! I’m Olivia, a pianist with over 7 years of experience and several awards in competitions. I’ve loved playing piano since I was little, and now I enjoy helping beginners discover the joy of making music. My goal is to make learning piano fun, encouraging, and stress-free. I understand what it’s like to start from scratch, so I focus on guiding students at their own pace, answering questions, and sharing tips that make progress easier. I remember how I had a mentor along with my formal teacher and it helped a lot! Whether you’re trying to learn a favorite song, improve your technique, or just explore music for fun, I’m here to help you every step of the way. With me, you’ll get patience, support, and a friendly mentor who genuinely loves music and teaching.

My Approach: I focus on supporting beginners as they explore piano, helping them feel confident and enjoy the learning process. Instead of formal lessons, I guide students through practice, answer questions, and share tips on technique, reading music, and understanding songs. How a Session Might Look: Check-in: See what the student wants to focus on that day. Guided Practice: Work through pieces together, offering advice and demonstrating techniques. Tips & Tricks: Share easy ways to improve rhythm, fingering, and musical expression. Encouragement: Set small goals and celebrate progress to keep learning fun. What Makes Me Different: I’m an award-winning pianist with over 7 years of experience, and I understand what it’s like to start learning piano. My goal is to make students feel supported and motivated rather than pressured.
