About Eleanor

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor who achieved grades 8 and above at GCSE and am currently an A* student studying A-Level English Literature. In September, I will be pursuing English Literature at university, where I hope to further develop my passion for reading, writing, and literary analysis.

Having recently completed my GCSEs, I understand the demands of the current curriculum and the challenges students face. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities, improve their grades, and develop effective revision and exam techniques.

I believe that every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and reaching their full potential.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. Whether you are aiming to improve confidence, strengthen essay-writing skills, or achieve higher GCSE grades, I will create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Lessons can focus on English Literature, English Language, exam technique, revision strategies, text analysis, and essay structure. I break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and provide regular feedback to help students make consistent progress.

As a current A-Level English Literature student who recently completed GCSEs, I understand the challenges students face and can offer up-to-date advice on exam preparation and revision methods. My aim is to help students develop both confidence and independent learning skills alongside academic success.

To help students and parents determine whether I am the right tutor for them, I offer a free introductory lesson. This provides an opportunity to discuss academic goals, identify areas for improvement, and create a personalised plan for future sessions. It also allows students to experience my teaching style in a relaxed and supportive environment before committing to regular lessons.
