About Naisha

Hi! I'm a Year 10 IGCSE student at an international school in Singapore with a passion for Mathematics and Science. I enjoy solving problems, understanding how things work, and helping others gain confidence in subjects they may find challenging.

I believe that every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement. My aim is to create a friendly, patient, and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I explain concepts clearly, break difficult topics into manageable steps, and adapt my teaching to suit each student's individual learning style.

As a current student, I understand the challenges of school and know how important it is to build strong foundations rather than simply memorizing answers. Whether your child needs help with homework, preparing for a test, or improving their confidence in Math or Science, I am committed to helping them achieve their goals.

I am reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about teaching, and I strive to make every lesson engaging, productive, and enjoyable.

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques & Methodology
My lessons are tailored to each student's learning style and focus on building confidence as well as understanding. I explain concepts step by step, use worked examples, and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson. We then practice together using questions similar to those they may see in class or on tests, before reviewing any mistakes to make sure they fully understand the topic.

Typical Lesson Length
Lessons are usually 60 minutes long and include:

10 minutes: Review of previous work and any homework questions
20 minutes: Learning and explaining a new topic
20 minutes: Guided practice and exam-style questions
10 minutes: Recap and setting practice for the next lesson

Longer lessons can also be arranged if needed.

Qualifications & Experience
I am a Year 10 IGCSE student at an international school in Singapore with a strong interest in Mathematics and Science. I consistently perform well in these subjects and enjoy helping others understand difficult concepts in a simple and encouraging way. Although I am beginning my tutoring journey, I am patient, well-prepared, and committed to helping every student improve their confidence and academic performance.
