About Mark
I am 52 years of age and have been continuously employed as a high school General Science / Biology / Human Biology teacher for over 25 years. I attained my qualifications in Victoria (Science and Teaching degrees) and worked for 16 years in three metropolitan Melbourne high schools. I then moved with my family to Perth in 2016 and began teaching at a senior high school in metropolitan Perth. I continue to work in this job to the present day. I enjoy gardening, fishing and music in my spare time.

Students studying high school and ATAR science require guided and tailored strategies for effective learning and positive results. Stimulating natural curiosity and interest is vital to motivate students to achieve their best. I believe that in most cases I have the skill set and experience to deliver tutoring which will help individuals achieve their potential in Biology & Science programs. I am patient and flexible in my approach, and will always create challenging sessions based on pre-testing student understanding and a keen awareness of course requirements and content. I gain much personal satisfaction from helping students achieve improvements in their understanding and will work hard to help students achieve improved outcomes.
