About Rafaela
Hello! My name is Rafaela, and I am a recent VCE graduate who has experience tutoring Mathematics throughout my senior school years.
Having taught school-age students of all ages and abilities, I'm familiar with and love to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where we can dissect problems in mathematical and scientific reasoning to reach a resolution in a satisfying and simply intuitive way.
I'm well acquainted with the fact that "one size does not fit all" in learning, and I have particular skill and experience with presenting the same concept in varying engaging ways until the concept is understood and the student can comfortably and confidently apply their knowledge.

My techniques for teaching involve guiding students to an approach that natually works for them, rather than enforcing a strict method for every task.
I include proofs and alternative ways of conceptualising mathematical and scientific concepts, and I use this to connect broad ideas in a logical way, thus encouraging the student's natural curiosity.
I am 18 years of age, graduated VCE in 2021, and have already been tutoring students for 2 years in these subjects.
