About Francisca
I have 5 years of tutoring experience in Science and 2 years in Maths in India. I have tutored students of years 8-12 but can also tutor those in years 7 and below and have also interacted with students of years 1-4 during my experience as a Catechist in Church. While I have taught the Indian curriculum for Maths and Science, I am comfortable with teaching other curricula as well. I tutored for 2 months (student from Dubai) IB - Year 10 Biology and Maths. Inspiring young boys and girls and making the subject more interesting has been always my goal. Most students find Maths and Science difficult and I take it upon myself to make the topics easier for them. I strongly believe in the conceptual way of teaching and learning and in catering to the student's specific learning style.
I am currently studying the Master of Molecular Biology research extensive program at the University of Queensland.

I tutor students based on their learning style and make use of anecdotes to understand the topics. I am a big fan of conceptual learning which ensures that what you study today, you will be able to apply that knowledge later on in life. Sometimes I do provide tips and tricks to remember certain facts. For me, my duty as a tutor is fulfilled when my student understands what has been taught. Lessons can be of one hour duration. I have experience tutoring both in person as well as online.
