About Xin Yi
I was born in China and moved to the UK at the age of 9 making me fluent in both Mandarin and English. I was KS3, KS4 and KS5 Maths Captain during my sixth form. As a Maths Captain, I helped students during the weekly lunchtime maths sessions with their questions throughout the year.

I am patient and approachable, being a student myself has given me the ability to encourage and empathise with my students. I teach GCSE maths and physics according to the syllabus and mark scheme, making sure my students understand and get every mark.
