"Jazz improvisation, memorization techniques, and chord voicing define my core pedagogical approach. These 9 fundamental skills represent the backbone of my instruction for 363 students.
I prioritize posture and hand position above all else to ensure longevity. Ear training, classical repertoire, and sight transposition demand total focus. Hand independence and rhythm and timing are the final pieces of the puzzle. I enjoy seeing the exact moment a student gains control over their sound."
