About Jessica
Hi! My name is Jessica and I just finished my A-level studies at school where I studied Sociology, History, and French (I love my essay subjects!). In addition to being a part-time tutor, my roles as a sociology ambassador and French prefect have meant I have been able to tutor those who are struggling with a revision or study method that best suits them. And that's why I'm here to help! I am proud to say that I have been able to watch students improve from a Grade 6 to a Grade 9 French GCSE and from writing low-level to top-band A-Level Sociology essays. Exams are very intimidating (I know that better than anyone) but with me, you will have just an extra helping hand to support you and personalise a teaching style and pace that will benefit. This past year, I have been a tutor as part of Explore Learning and can confidently say that I have been able to successfully build an encouraging and progressive learning environment with those I teach. As part of any helpful tutoring process, I love providing productive feedback to parents - talking about progress as well as the next steps forward. After 2 years of obtaining top band-level marks in my assessment, I can proudly say that sociology has become my favourite subject and therefore, it would be my honour to help anyone finding it a bit tricky (I have a proven method)!
