Thank you so much, Paulina! I enjoyed our interaction & what I believe was a real connection between storytellers. Looking forward to seeing where that leads & to reading your 350 words!

Perfect! Linda is truly exceptional. Her professionalism is evident in every aspect of her teaching, ensuring a structured and effective learning environment. Beyond that, her kindness and patience are remarkable, fostering a nurturing atmosphere that instills confidence in young learners.

What sets her apart is not just her expertise but the delightful manner in which she imparts knowledge. Her soft and clear voice not only makes the lessons easy to follow but also adds a soothing touch to the entire learning experience. This quality is particularly beneficial for students, creating an environment where they feel comfortable and engaged.

One of the most significant indicators of her effectiveness is that my son genuinely enjoys his lessons with her. Her ability to make the lessons fun and interactive has captured his interest in a way that extends beyond mere academic achievement. It's a rare and invaluable skill to not only teach effectively but also to make the learning process enjoyable.

overall, our experience with Linda has been incredibly positive, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a tutor who is not only professional and knowledgeable but also possesses the rare ability to connect with and inspire young minds.

Linda's response
A bright, engaging young student with a sense of fun, who grasps concepts quickly and has an encouraging, motivating parent who “gets it.” The student delights in stories and poetry in a way that makes it easy and a pleasure to do my job!

Linda is a wonderful teacher. She´s passionate about creativity and language that is contagious. My 9-year-old daughter, who’s second language is English, continues to thrive on Linda´s lessons where she gets to combine her love of art with the English language and storytelling. My daughter says: “With Linda I can be myself and learning is fun!”. We can wholeheartedly recommend her.

I first met Ms. Deane in 2011 when she conducted some workshops in creative writing with my class. I was very impressed with her ability to arouse the creativity in my students and her excellent storytelling skills. Subsequently, she was invited on another occasion to participate in my school’s activities for World Book Day 2016. Her ability to unearth the creativity of the students was again evident. The students enjoyed her word relay activity and were instantly attracted to her exuberance and love for words. She made them realise that words are alive. I consider Ms. Deane to be a literary educator par excellence and have great admiration for her dedication to the development of the literary skills of young people in Barbados.
