I have a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's in creative writing. I am a published author, and I have been writing and editing for many years. I have also spent many years working with children. I committed to helping students find confidence in their writing.

I have a nurturing and supportive teaching style.
For essay writing, I work on fostering an understanding of how to write a thesis statement, since the thesis statement is the backbone of any essay. I, then, focus on helping students learn to craft fully fleshed out introductions, body paragraphs and solid conclusions.
Tutoring can be adapted for any age/ability level.
