I’m a fully qualified English teacher and have been tutoring successfully for a year now. I specialize in using classic texts such as Shakespeare and the Brontes to help students to understand what excellent writing is. I am very good at explaining complex ideas in a straightforward way and my lessons are fun and engaging. I am a writer and a published poet and am good at imparting confidence to students who have difficulty or feel they are not making progress at school. My students range from 8 to 16.
