About Shiqin
I was working as Assistant professor of English in a university in China before I came to Australia to study,. From 2000 to 2010, I was working as a Chinese teacher in Australia.
I am an experienced teacher of Chinese and ESL studies, which include assessing examinations and individual studies for SSABSA (Secondary School Assessment Board of South Australia). I was an oral examiner, public exam marker for both background Chinese and continuer levels. As such I am conversant with the workings and applications of the SACSA Framework in languages.
I had useful experiences in preparing and teaching IB programs at Pedare Christian College and Glenunga International High School. Besides, French was a compulsory subject for my university studies and for my professional promotion.
I am a qualified teacher based in schools as well as at adult training levels. I have had good experiences in teaching university students at Adelaide University and WEA Adult Learning. I am looking forward to embracing new challenges and would love to explore new opportunities to work for and in different work environment. From the Collage information, I understand you need an experienced and responsible teacher. This is just what I have been aiming at in the past years of teaching

I was teaching Chinese to students of various year levels. To Year 6-9 students, I used various methods such as doing arogami, learning Chinese songs, playing Chinese games and trips to the Chiense community to strenthen the learning of reading and writing.
