About Sivashankar
I believe effective teaching starts with igniting a student's passion for the subject. When a student is truly interested, they're empowered to take ownership of their learning. I'm dedicated to creating an environment where that interest can flourish, paving the way for deeper understanding and academic success. With 15 years of experience as a Mathematics teacher, I've tutored students across all levels, specializing in Math HL and SL, as well as STEM subjects. My sessions prioritize understanding over memorization. I know that mathematical success comes from grasping the reasoning behind each solution. To reinforce understanding, I always review previous concepts, and I typically introduce mathematical ideas using at least two different approaches to ensure clarity.
