About Ryan
With 15 years of experience teaching Piano, I have successfully helped students from different backgrounds achieve their musical goals. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals through personalized lessons that are easy to understand and enjoyable to follow.
My teaching approach focuses on communication, patience, and steady improvement. I believe that students achieve the best results when they feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged throughout their learning journey.
Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, performance preparation, and finger techniques. I also teach effective practice methods that help students improve consistently.
Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These complementary skills strengthen musical understanding and help students become more confident performers.
My mission is to inspire students to enjoy learning while developing strong musical foundations. Through practical instruction and positive encouragement, I help every learner achieve lasting success.

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and consistent encouragement. I believe piano learning should be enjoyable, practical, and inspiring for every student. I understand that every learner has different strengths, so I adjust my teaching methods to match individual needs and learning speed.
Students begin by developing a strong musical foundation through correct posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm practice, note reading, and music theory. Once these basics become comfortable, students move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive playing, and performance preparation. Every lesson builds on previously learned skills to create lasting confidence.
I teach using demonstrations, guided practice, listening exercises, and interactive discussions. Students are encouraged to ask questions, understand musical concepts, and practice regularly. I provide constructive feedback after every lesson and prepare personalized exercises that help students continue improving at home.
To make learning interesting, students explore different styles of music, including classical, pop, worship, movie themes, and contemporary songs. I also introduce improvisation, accompaniment, and simple arranging to develop creativity and musical confidence.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, rhythm development, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These supporting subjects provide students with a complete understanding of music.
My goal is to help students enjoy learning, perform confidently, and develop a lifelong passion for piano and music.
