About Selandia
I am a Bahamian Architect currently working in Victoria, B.C., Canada. With experience tutoring English, Math, Music and the Sciences from my time in high school until now, I have learned how much I enjoy helping others gain confidence in themselves by gaining confidence in their skills. From my time traveling, working, and studying in Europe, the Caribbean, the US, and Canada, I understand the value of open-mindedness and listening in building trust and confidence. This is one of the reasons I continue to support others. Teaching is also a learning experience after all. Random interests? I spend my free time reading, volunteering at festivals, playing at jam sessions, and taking walks. I also like plants, PC gaming, and good food. Hopefully we can connect!

I teach in interactive lessons based on your specific needs and goals. Whether a student or professional studying ESL or IELTS, I like to integrate your unique interests to make the experience enjoyable and low pressure.
We will begin with introductions and understanding your goals and interests, then schedule lessons that integrate these in activities and conversations. There will also be continual discussion about progress and whether certain activities are working well for your learning style.
