About Liz
I have worked in a UK primary school for nine years, teaching Mathematics and English to a range of year groups from Year 2 up to Year 6. Most of my teaching has been tailored towards small groups and supporting children one-to-one. I have an excellent knowledge of the current UK curriculum and use an engaging and professional approach, so that all pupils enjoy learning and fulfil their potential.
I am also an experienced musician, regularly performing on the local music scene. I sing and play a range of instruments, including guitar, flute and percussion. I can teach guitar and recorder to beginner learners of all ages.

I base my teaching on current UK classroom practice. For academic lessons I will recommend a high quality workbook based on the pupil's individual learning needs. The pupil will complete this with my professional guidance and support. This will include teaching via videolink and the traditional use of a whiteboard to explain concepts and give dedicated feedback.
