About Matteo

I am an energy engineer, graduated from the polytechnic of Milan with a passion for scientific subjects, the nature of things and a geek for ever! I became a teacher of mathematics and / or physics at high schools in the Milan area, with a general appreciation from the boys and girls with whom I interact. I also carry out training activities on new technologies (Arduino programming, online coding on special softwares, modeling and 3D printing). In general I think problem solving is stimulating, whether it is a math problem or a real situation in which creativity can save time (and money) and I like to help solve problems, understand difficult subjects in which I enjoy and I am comfortable! I am calm, nice, generous! In my spare time I love to do sports, photography and I volunteer.

About the lesson

I like an initial approach with a generic panoramic view at the beginning, to then deepen the subject and the various topics with schemes, formulas, important themes and the most frequent problems in a particular topic. For example, I assign exercises to understand where the most important problems are and then letting the student understand how to solve it inductively. I have been a tutor since 2006, as well as a teacher in high schools as my main profession: I know the problems that students have mostly in technical-mathematical subjects and I am able to cope well with theory, practice and forms. I have gained experience working with several DSA guys, having quite a success. My lessons are mainly aimed at high school or university students (why not, even adults looking for specific formation), whether they need a simple momentary help or support or need a more structured and lasting support. in order to lay solid foundations for the scholastic future.

The rates go up to € 30 / h in the case of university students. In the case of groups of students, I make € 30 / ha for pair of students (high school level), € 40 / ha (university students level)
