About Zoe
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Physics with Materials Science, with a strong academic and teaching focus on astrophysics and cosmology. Over the years, I have worked with students who are deeply curious about the universe and eager to understand how its fundamental laws operate on the largest scales. My teaching often explores stellar evolution, from star formation to supernovae and remnants, helping students see how physics governs the life cycle of stars. I also dedicate significant time to black holes, explaining their formation, properties, and observational evidence in a clear and structured way. General relativity is introduced gradually, with emphasis on spacetime curvature and gravity as a geometric phenomenon. I guide students through the Big Bang theory, discussing cosmic expansion, background radiation, and early-universe physics. Lessons are carefully structured to build understanding step by step. I place strong emphasis on phonetic accuracy, ensuring scientific terms are pronounced correctly and confidently. Active listening is central to every session, allowing me to adapt explanations based on student responses. Repetition is used thoughtfully to reinforce key ideas and remove confusion. Inventors and tech enthusiasts thrive in this environment because concepts are connected to real-world applications and innovation. I explain planetary motion, gravity, and orbital mechanics using clear examples. Cosmology basics, including the structure and evolution of the universe, are introduced gradually. Space missions and exploration physics are used to spark curiosity. Questions are encouraged and explored deeply. Confidence grows through discussion and practice. Students develop the ability to speak clearly about scientific ideas. Together, we refine understanding of the cosmos and build confidence in discussing the universe.
