About Talia

I’m an English tutor with over three years of experience and a Master’s in Global English and Intercultural Communication. I specialize in teaching English as a second language through the lens of environmental awareness and sustainability. My sessions focus on helping learners build vocabulary related to ecological topics and express ideas about climate solutions with confidence. We explore global conservation efforts, environmental movements, and green innovation—all while strengthening language skills. I believe learning English is most impactful when it connects to real-world concerns. That’s why I design lessons around themes like plastic waste, clean energy, and sustainable habits. I’ve had the privilege of working with adult learners, environmentally conscious individuals, and those passionate about advocacy. My lessons blend reading, open discussion, media content, and personal insight. Students gain both fluency in English and a deeper understanding of pressing environmental issues. I’m committed to supporting each learner’s goals and helping them build their global voice. Together, we’ll use English as a tool for awareness, connection, and change.

About the lesson

My English teaching approach centers on clear and confident communication. I guide students in speaking effectively for classrooms, meetings, and public settings. We work on persuasive language, vocal clarity, and body language to create a strong presence. Lessons include structured public speaking practice, planning formal presentations, and learning how to engage an audience.

I use real-life scenarios and student-driven activities to make learning relevant and impactful. My goal is to help each student speak with confidence and deliver ideas with purpose. I specialize in supporting Immigrant/Newcomer and Heritage Learner students aiming to improve English for public or professional use.

Together, we build strong presentation skills and develop the ability to think clearly and respond under pressure. We also explore useful vocabulary, sentence flow, and appropriate tone for different situations. Each session includes regular practice and targeted feedback. You’ll grow in both confidence and ability. Let’s strengthen your English and help your voice stand out.
