About Rebecca
I hold a Ph.D. and my primary area of writing and research is music psychology. I am co-author of a textbook in use internationally, and love working with others in academic settings of all types. Beyond the above, I have a small hobby farm, love hiking, biking, paddling and being in the green, two beautiful kids that are the lights of my life, and seven crazy animals that keep us all busy. I am also a musician who plays the piano and sings, a visual artist who loves to create, and a public speaker who has presented at state and national conferences across the U.S.

Welcome- you've come to the right place! I am internationally published in prose, quantitative and qualitative research, and have a vast amount of experience working with students of all levels- adult learners, Ph.D. candidates, masters students, undergraduate students, middle and high school students.
Coaching sessions are 50 minutes with a 30-minute intake that is designed to help you decide if I am a good fit for you. A typical lesson plan will focus on active learning in synchronous sessions that I design before each subsequent meeting.
Although many things set me apart as a tutor/coach, the primary thing is vast experience and deep knowledge base with a genuine love of teaching.
The most common feedback I receive is that I am "inspirational", "motivational", "approachable", and "funny" while being good at thinking outside of the box for all types of learners.
