About Robert
WI have several years of experience working in education at various capacities. Beginning as a private tutor when completing my degree in English Literature with a minor in French Literature, I tutored mostly high school students in all levels of English, Spanish, and French.
I received Highest Distinction on my Honors Thesis in 2014 from UCSD.
Upon graduating college, I started working in student support services, honing my professionalism in 1:1 settings.
After completing my Master's in General Psychology with a Concentration in Substance Abuse Counseling, I resumed working in the college preparedness field, namely as a student advisor. Part of my role was also to edit college admissions submissions as needed.
Nothing inspires as much personal motivation as witnessing a student's growth as a writer and being able to be a mentor and guide throughout the process.

I help students engage deeply with their work, encouraging them to make connections between their assigned readings and prompts while developing their own perspectives and voices as writers.
Students who learn in my space take reading and writing strategies that extend beyond a given assignment so that they can proceed to the next level of rigor as prepared as possible.
Any high school or college student who wants to take their academic writing to a confident and exemplary level can have faith in my counsel.
