About Sarah
I have stellar academic and professional credentials. CV available upon request.
I attended a private high school in NYC, graduated with honors from college, and in the top 5% of my law school class. I served as a student editor on a weekly student newspaper, an academic journal, and law review.
I started my career as a research assistant at a think tank in Washington DC. I then served as an analyst at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. While in law school, I worked for a federal judge, federal prosecutor, public defender’s office, and “big law” firm in New York.
I served as a teaching assistant in college in various History courses and in law school for numerous classes, including Legal Writing, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Evidence.
I was born and raised in NYC. I was a college athlete (soccer), love the outdoors, and enjoy adventuring abroad whenever I can!

My approach emphasizes three things:
Brilliance is in the basics. To me, helping students master the basics is the most critical step to their success—that is your foundation for learning more effectively, exploring more complex topics, and explaining more nuanced issues.
Everyone learns differently. I take great care to learn about you, your learning style, educational background, etc. to maximize our time working together.
Patience, practice, and perseverance. Learning is a difficult, ugly process for most students. But that’s okay. These three things make learning (even your worst subjects) totally doable!
