About Robert
I have been working in the wine industry for over a decade and have a broad range of experience as a result. I have consulted restaurants and marketing companies on wines and whisky, I've worked retail at both everyday and fine wine levels, I've helped couples select wines that they can both afford and enjoy for their wedding receptions, I've provided personal wine, whisky and even brandy tasting experiences, tutored groups in wine tasting, call my bluff wine tasting events and put on wine and food pairing evenings - all with the resounding enjoyment and satisfaction of my clients. I am a specialist in vegan wines, educated to WSET Level 3 and currently completing the WSET Diploma.

You will learn about wine in a fun and informative way. Prior to the session, we'll establish what you're wanting from the experience and I'll tailor it to suit you. This initial consultation prior to your tasting session is free and lasts up to 30 minutes. The tasting session itself typically lasts two hours.
For those who are not confident in their wine knowledge, I can teach you how to pick out individual smells from your wine; how to recognise the different styles of wine by taste, sight and smell; and how to decipher wine labels from around the world. For those of you who consider yourself more 'wine explorers', I can give you guided tastings to various wine regions, wine styles or even to a selection of varieties and wine regions that you'd never have expected to find. For more specialist sessions, I can provide guided tastings on Champagne, Whisky and Cognac.
If required, I am also able to source the necessary wines for you at an agreed upon budget in addition to my fee. The details of this would be discussed with you at the initial consultation.

If you cancel or reschedule your tasting session less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place, there will be a cancellation/rescheduling fee of £40
