About Tu
I have over 10 years of experience teaching high school and college level mathematics. I am currently an Adjunct Faculty for multiple community colleges teaching mathematics. I know what it takes to pass a math class because I've taught these classes.
B.A in Math at UC San Diego
M.A in Math at San Francisco State University
I spent 3 years in a PhD math program and left to pursue a career in teaching. I spent one year at a high school in San Francisco mentoring high school students and helping them with their mathematics. I have over 10 years of teaching experience at both college and high school level. I understand why students who struggle in mathematics dislike math. I am patient and will try to explain a concept in multiple ways until you understand.

I will not work with a current student in any of my classes. I have no preference but the student should feel comfortable working with me and be able to tell me when they don't understand. I like to introduce myself and talk to find out their goals in life and what they want to accomplish with my tutoring service.
