About Aiden
• My name is Aiden, and I'm from South Africa. As an English teacher, I am interested in a variety of topics, and I enjoy focusing on the learning goals of my students. I enjoy teaching because I can help others improve their skills. Having the opportunity to meet learners from around the world brings me joy and excitement.

When I teach English Basics, I would use simple and easy props and ask the learners if they know the name or use of the item. These props will be simple items like a pencil, mug, box and so on. The goal of this is to understand the level of English that the students understand
When teaching pronunciation and phonics, I will create a game where i will put words down and see if they can pronounce it. And at the end of the lesson, I will write down some those same words but i will leave out one or two of the letters and help the learner find the letter that belongs there.
Example: App_e; we would try and find which letter is missing, which would be the letter "L"
If the learner has a language test coming up at school, I will put in the extra time and lessons to make sure that the learner does great on their test. By doing this, I would go over all of the knowledge that they already know and ask them questions to help them improve. At the end of the lesson, I will create my own mini test for them to try and do. And if they are unable to complete the test, then I would put in the extra hours and work with that learner
