About Mary
Coding represents a craft that requires clarity more than raw intelligence. Honestly, I find that even the most talented students often struggle simply because they miss a foundational logical step. Having spent 4 years teaching while transitioning from a PhD in Physics at MIT to quant research, I focus on building those missing blocks.
My work spans Python, SQL, C++, and JavaScript for teens and exam-bound students. I also cover Git and debugging to ensure students write clean, production-ready code. These methods reflect my professional experience in scientific computing and ML engineering. Dealing with technical interviews and DSA challenges remains my specialty.
It helps that I keep things grounded in real-world application. Feel free to reach out if you want to sharpen your skills.

Fast progress happens when you stop memorizing syntax and start breaking down problems. Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to intentionally write broken code just to see why it fails.
I structure these sessions to emphasize consistent problem solving on coding platforms like LeetCode and HackerRank. We will tackle weekly practice problems together and perform deep reviews of your logic. By applying the scientific rigor I gained during my MIT PhD, we debug your thought process as much as your script. I adapt my technical explanations for teens and struggling learners who need steady, methodical guidance.
Whether we use C++ or Python, the goal is to think like a developer. My approach integrates industry standard practices such as version control into every tutorial. I expect you to bring your toughest bugs to the table. Let us get to work building your technical foundation.
