About Khushie
Hi, I’m Khushie — a passionate and creative English teacher with a heart for making learning genuinely enjoyable. Born in Hyderabad and raised in Kolkata, I am currently based in Bangalore, where I am pursuing my final year of a degree in Media and Psychology from Christ University. I completed my earlier education from GD Birla Centre for Education, Kolkata, which gave me a strong academic foundation to build on.
I have been tutoring for over a year now, and what sets my teaching apart is a storytelling-based approach. I believe every grammar rule has a story, every poem has a feeling, and every child has a unique way of understanding the world — and I teach keeping exactly that in mind.
Creative, caring, and endlessly patient, I aim to be the kind of teacher students actually remember.

About the lesson

Classes are open for students from 1st to 5th standard, with sessions running for 1 to 1.5 hours, held twice a week. The focus is on building strong English foundations — covering basic grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, phonics, and pronunciation for younger learners. Literature is made simple and enjoyable through stories, poems, and fun activities, so children actually look forward to the lessons.
Every session includes space for doubt-clearing, and progress is regularly tracked and shared with parents. The learning environment is warm, friendly, and judgement-free because every child learns at their own pace, and that is completely okay.
Writing skills like framing sentences and short paragraphs are also covered, along with spoken English to build real confidence beyond just the textbook.
