About Paul
I’m just a regular person whose passion for languages has led me to what I do for a living. I hope to instill that passion in my students. Having been through the same learning process as a former non speaker, I will be able to anticipate obstacles to learning, and guide you to mastery-level or provide you with enough of an understanding to satisfy college language requirements.

I will help you to make sense of the language, understanding the “why” as opposed the mere “how”. I will model authentic pronunciation and teach you how to retain vocabulary. I will train you to think in Spanish, as opposed to just memorizing and regurgitating phrases.
As someone who is not a native speaker, I will empathize with your struggles to make sense of what you’re doing throughout the learning process.
I will also be available to answer questions via email and/or text messages between sessions. Additionally, I will create specialized study sets for you on Quizlet, providing exercises and answers.
